was born in 1969 in Treuenbrietzen (Germany), started to play the violin at the age of six. By the age of nine he joined classes in musical theory. After his studies (1991-96) he graduated in several master classes and performed as soloist and concertmaster with various orchestras and chamber music-ensembles in Germany and abroad.
Besides his work as a studio musician and violin-teacher he joined with the accordion player Jörg Siegloch in 1991 to perform as Duo Diagonal. Jaenicke plays an Austrian instrument made by Joh. Georgius Leeb, 1827.
